Mission

QueerSPACE leads and supports efforts that enable the flourishing of LGBTQ+ individuals at SPU, and coordinates efforts to eliminate institutional and systemic barriers to academic, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.

Our 'Why'

QueerSPACE believes that the SPU community cannot flourish until all queer members of the SPU community are enabled to flourish. 

Vision

We envision an SPU that celebrates queer identities and expression, elevates LGBTQ+ voices, and advocates for the safety and wellbeing of its LGBTQ+ community members.
